If you are grieving there is no shame in reaching out to ask for help, in fact it is a strength to do so. Your doctor is also a good starting point to find local support groups that are open and available for your unique needs.
There are many worldwide support groups to help you copy with grief and loss. I aim to grow this list and need your help, contact me any national or local bereavement support groups in your area to include on the list. Together, we can help heal those grieving find a little comfort and support for their healing.

Grief Counselling Ottawa: We all need support when we lose someone we love, and this is where Grief Counselling Ottawa can help. Grief counselling is there for when we go through a natural period of grieving, which can involve a complex set of emotions. Ottawa grief counselling can also help when life becomes unmanageable.
Wabano’s Mental Health Walk-in Counselling is a free counselling service for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit clients of any age or gender. It offers the same day short-term mental health/wellness support for you and/or your family.
